Our vision for Kingsford-Smith Village was to offer over 55s living and a lifestyle intertwined with comfort, convenience and a sense of community.
Asides from being the landowner, Redbank Communities was responsible for the design, planning, approvals, financing and delivery of the project, with a total construction value of $85 million.
The village comprises 192 accessibility-compliant homes (AS 1428.1), with each being free-standing, airy and spacious. Designed to support independent living and cater for the over 55’s lifestyle, the two or three-bedroom homes with garages are built for maintenance-free upkeep.
Kingsford-Smith Village is promoted as ‘designed for the not-so-retiring’. It offers a dynamic variety of leisure activities and an engaged community of like-minded individuals. Residents can enjoy a range of exciting events and activities, and when they wish to travel further afield, there is a complimentary bus to help them reach nearby locations.
